Toivo Adams commented on NIFI-901:
----------------------------------

Benjamin,

Thank you for making it clear.

I had impression CQL is way to go because Cassandra core team is pushing it.
Now I understand this is not so black and white.

What are our options?

1. Use CQL which is simpler and more familiar to SQL database users also.
But we lose many Cassandra features.
Also schema is necessary.

2. Avoid using CQL and have full Cassandra power available.

3. Implement two sets of Cassandra processors (both CQL version and without
CQL).

Thanks
Toivo

> Develop processors to interact with Apache Cassandra. The current http
> processors may actually support this as is but such configuration may be too
> complex to provide the quality user experience desired.
