Joseph Witt commented on NIFI-1107:
-----------------------------------
Appreciate your feedback on the thought process. I share a different view of
it. My approach is coming from the user experience side and I don't think
users will care to pick one processor or the other but rather we should
automatically support one mode or the other based on size or something. Now
having said this you are closer to the problem, you did the work, and therefore
it is your call. I am a +1 to whichever path you choose. I am glad we
discussed it and i am now saying i'll defer to you.
Thanks for asking and discussing and finally thanks for the contrib.

> A new `PutS3ObjectMultipart` processor using the AWS S3 API to upload files
> larger than those supported by `PutS3Object` which has a [5GB
> limit|http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/dev/UploadingObjects.html]
> limit.
> To support S3 compatible endpoints this will also add an `Endpoint Override
> URL` property to `AbstractAWSProcessor` to set the service
> [endpoint|http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSJavaSDK/latest/javadoc/com/amazonaws/AmazonWebServiceClient.html#setEndpoint(java.lang.String)]
> to override the endpoint URL normally selected based on the the Amazon
> region.
