on every onTrigger wouldn't be ideal, while your use case is not a lot of 
fetches, I don't think that will universally be the case. It looks like the 
call to get the temp credentials is an RPC call of sorts. I don't know that 
part of the AWS api all that well - is it possible there is a method to 
determine if credentials have expired?
