Matt Gilman commented on NIFI-1864:
-----------------------------------

[~rkarthi...@gmail.com] Thanks for the patch and your interest in NiFi! Right
now we have two different branches for our 0.x and 1.x baselines. Master is our
1.x baseline and is currently undergoing a major development effort. We are
currently targeting a release in a few months. The 0.x baseline is also
actively developed and released regularly. It would be nice to get this fix
into both branches.

For 1.x we've moved the breadcrumbs to the bottom of the page. For this patch,
would it be possible to adjust for the height of the breadcrumbs (and optional
banner text) so that the context menu stays on the canvas?

In the nifi.properties you can set the banner text with this property:

{noformat}
nifi.ui.banner.text
{noformat}

For 0.x would it be possible to get a separate patch that just accounts for the
optional banner text?

Please let me know if you have any questions or need any assistance with the
two separate patches. Thanks again!

Matt

> I was trying to create a few flows, when i noticed that the popup dialog
> (when we right click on a processor) for process configuration does not get
> completely rendered inside the canvas. This happens when the process is right
> on the edge of the visible portion of the canvas. The dialog gets hidden
> behind the browser window and the menu option are not accesible. You have
> close the menu pan the canvas and then right click on the processor to get
> the context menu completely with the browser window.
