Oleg Zhurakousky commented on NIFI-2015:
----------------------------------------

[~markap14] no it is not the same as NIFI-2006 ;) That one already has a PR

As for the other things. Chris explained it in the email that somehow he
(deliberately) corrupted a FlowFile resulting in no-uuid and even though you
are saying it should not be possible, my concern was that according to Chris
the NiFi became unavailable. Now I've easily reproduced such corruption by
temporarily introducing "questionable code" and I did see the same stack trace
as Chris is reporting. What I could not observe is "wedged" NiFi. It was
running fine and I was able to perform all kinds of actions (see above).

So my *only* remaining concern is if there is a condition related to this issue
that renders NiFi unavailable. Otherwise I am perfectly fine with recommending
"No Fix".

> Encountered the following error. Once encountered the processor in question
> cannot make any progress. The incoming connection cannot be emptied or even
> listed. Note this issue is not to address the corrupted flow file but rather
> the handling of the corrupted file.
