sim/alsa build failure (LAME undefined references to *_avx2/*_sse2) is
pre-existing and unrelated to this PR — it's a CMake issue in
apps/audioutils/lame/ missing SIMD assembly sources for x86_64 sim. The DAC
driver changes only touch arch/arm/src/stm32h7/ and Documentation/.
