## Summary Extend testing/libc/crctest with regression coverage for the companion NuttX crc8smbus()/crc8smbuspart() API and preservation of the existing complemented crc8ccitt API. Test known vectors, all split points, empty buffers and all 256 seeds against an independent bitwise implementation. Existing CRC tests remain. ## Impact Tests only, no production application behavior or configuration additions. Uses existing TESTING_CRC_TEST / TESTING_CMOCKA infrastructure. Depends on [Apache NuttX PR #20566](https://github.com/apache/nuttx/pull/20566), which supplies the SMBus helpers. Merge that API before this test change. Build against NuttX containing that API. ## Testing Ubuntu 24.04 / WSL2 x86_64, native cc with -Wall -Wextra -Werror (unused test-state parameters suppressed), real CMocka 1.1.7. Compiled the actual crctest_main.c and NuttX CRC source files with host types and minimal FAR/config definitions. All nine cases pass. Full-file style, encoding and spelling checks pass.
