## Summary ifup never reported carrier, so the interface came up UP without RUNNING. Report carrier on in ifup and off in ifdown, as kvaser_pci does, and call ifdown at probe after netdev_lower_register(), which initializes the device lock that netdev_lower_carrier_off() takes.
