*Note: Please adhere to [Contributing Guidelines](https://github.com/apache/nuttx/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md).* ## Summary Add optimized TriCore assembly string/memory functions (GNU .S and TASKING .asm), enabled by TRICORE_STRING_FUNCTION. Fix longjmp to restore PSW and repair PRS/IO, then rewrite setjmp/longjmp in assembly. Select the assembly file extension per toolchain (ASMEXT) for both cmake and make builds. ## Impact TriCore architecture only (libs/libc/machine/tricore). The string functions are off by default; no impact on other architectures. ## Testing Built triboard_tc4x9_com:nsh with tricore-elf-gcc on Ubuntu host, default config and TRICORE_STRING_FUNCTION=y, each commit passes checkpatch and build. Tested on tc4xx board, runs normally; arch_libctest and a local setjmp/longjmp test pass, ostest passes: ``` nsh> uname -a NuttX 13.1.0 312298281f0 Oct 28 2026 23:26:25 tricore triboard_tc4x9_com nsh> arch_libctest memcpy: PASSED memmove: PASSED memset: PASSED memcmp: PASSED memchr: PASSED strlen: PASSED strcmp: PASSED strcpy: PASSED ... strrchr: PASSED strchrnul: PASSED arch_libc_test Passed nsh> libcasmtest libcasmtest: start, free csa=613 ... libcasmtest: PASSED (0 failures), free csa=613 nsh> echo ok ok ``` -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
