@casaroli @jerpelea the new head (a366493b7ba) squashes "keep the state of each open() separate" into "supervise the tasks in the auto-monitor" (zhuanglin's Signed-off-by kept), is rebased on the current master, and includes the fix for the expired channel in START/STOP/'V'.
