It took ~3 months to get a separate build pipeline going for Trino because of that. There were no spark tie-ins there, though. And there's still some places using Trino libraries that just didn't get upgraded. To be clear, I'm not opposed to the proposal, I'm just trying to understand what is actually happening with drivers/connectors to ensure they don't inadvertently end up requiring jdk 21. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
