## Refactor E2E validation (2026-10-01)
Ran `QueryRunnerTest#testMSEAggregationSpill` with the two in-process query
servers and broker-side reduction (not a deployed-cluster or load test):

The TestNG provider ran both queries: `GROUP BY col1` with `SUM`/`AVG`, and
`GROUP BY col2` with `DISTINCTCOUNT`. Each was compared against its
non-spilling baseline with `mseAggregationSpillMaxGroups=2` and
`mseAggregationSpillPartitions=8`. Both verified matching schema/ordered
results, positive spill count/rows/bytes, and cleanup of the configured
temporary spill roots. Result: **2 passed, 0 failures/errors/skips**. This
validates the local, unpushed refactor; it is not a claim that the PR is merged
or deployed.
