## Summary Fixes #19814 by rounding a floating-point sequence's step count to its nearest integer only when the difference is within an ULP-based tolerance derived from the start, end, and increment. Otherwise, the implementation floors the step count so an end genuinely between steps remains excluded. The float path continues to compute its step count in float arithmetic, matching the existing single-stage behavior. Regression coverage includes the issue's decimal-step examples for both float and double ranges, ascending and descending sequences, endpoints between steps, and a large-magnitude range. ## Validation - `./mvnw -pl pinot-common -am -Dtest=GenerateArrayFunctionsTest -Dsurefire.failIfNoSpecifiedTests=false -Dmaven.compiler.showDeprecation=true -Dmaven.compiler.showWarnings=true test` — passed, 17 tests. - `./mvnw spotless:apply -pl pinot-common` — passed. - `./mvnw license:format -pl pinot-common` — passed; no unrelated files changed. - `./mvnw checkstyle:check -pl pinot-common` — passed, 0 violations. - `./mvnw license:check -pl pinot-common` — passed, 709 files checked.
