Closing after before/after end-to-end benchmarks: the targeted allocation savings did not produce consistent query latency gains or a meaningful reduction in live heap or RSS. Both versions completed the same workload with a 512 MiB broker and 512 MiB server, with similar occasional Full GC, so this PR did not establish a smaller usable heap.
