The Pinot protobuf input plugin uses the [kafka-protobuf-serializer](https://github.com/apache/pinot/blob/bd554b39045d620d841c166858cb393d2c495b82/pinot-plugins/pinot-input-format/pinot-protobuf/pom.xml#L68) that has an [ambiguous license](https://github.com/confluentinc/schema-registry/issues/1558), possibly "Confluent Community License" which is not open source.
