Which 2.8 version are you upgrading from? Could this be a result of the changes in default configurations due to [Pulsar security vulnerabilities detected in 2022](https://pulsar.apache.org/security/#2022)? The fixes seem to be in Pulsar 2.8.4. Did you have that versio?
