### Motivation
Configuration variables in the frontend are hardcoded. It is not possible
currently to inject these values unless you rebuild the docker image. These
should allow injection of environment variables
### Modifications
Allow for injection of environment variables in the config of main.js. If no
env variable is defined, use default values
