Re-checked the interaction with Spring's handling: returning a `ResponseEntity` from the exception handler takes precedence over the `@ResponseStatus` annotation on the method, so the 405 status itself is unchanged — the only observable difference is the `Allow` header now being populated from `ex.getSupportedHttpMethods()`. Preflight `OPTIONS` requests never reach this handler (the `DispatcherServlet` answers them), so there is no interaction there either. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
