Three tests pin: the subscribed-topic and instance lists default to empty rather than null (NPE-safe); a fresh group reads as consume-stats-unavailable until a provider proves otherwise; and the documented -1 sentinel for unavailable connection inventory round-trips. Discriminating mutations (build result verified): the empty-list default dropped (red). Restored: 3/3 green.
