### Component / reproduction `rocketmq-studio`, MetricsExplorer's fallback when a selected data source leaves the current instance scope. Select a source bound to instance A. Switch to instance B, which queues a zero-delay fallback, then unmount the explorer or switch back to A before that callback runs. The timer is not cancelled by effect cleanup. It can still reset the source/credentials and issue queries using the obsolete scope after the user has left it. ### Prior work #4986 reported this timer and a separate cluster-retry timer. That PR was closed automatically for inactivity, with no maintainer rejection in its comments. The metrics timer is still unguarded in current commit 779b8c0. I found no open PR covering this path. ### Proposed scope Cancel this effect's pending fallback on cleanup. Add component regressions for unmount and returning to the original instance before the timer executes, retaining the normal fallback test. This proposal concerns only the MetricsExplorer timer.
