Presently if a blogger wants to post a blog article at a time multiple years in
the past (e.g., if he doesn't care to make it recent reading, but just wants it
to appear in search engine queries) he has to click "previous month" very
heavily on the current calendar pop-up, because it doesn't have a select year
option. JQuery offers some UI calendar widgets that have a year drop-down, we
should look into switching to it.
