[~navina], yes, have the same problem in Linux, with java 7 and java 8.
There is a bug filed https://github.com/facebook/rocksdb/issues/606
Since the fix will be in rocksdb's 3.11.1 release, which has not been
published, wondering if we want to wait and update the rocksdb before our
0.10.0 release. If yes, we should _push_ Naveena or Chris to release it . :)
