[~capricornius], based on the above, I believe that if AM also refresh the HDFS delegation token and distribute it to containers, as long as AM is still alive, containers will be able to restart. The only problem is now that the initial HDFS delegation token in the launch context can not be refreshed in RM and when AM dies after that token expires, job will not be successfully re-launched. I think that it should be acceptable for now.
