This scope is clear enough to start. `source first` + JDBC-dialect-only + basic type mapping / SQL quoting is the right size for a first Sybase slice. Keeping catalog support, complex DDL, and broader sink behavior out of scope for V1 will make review much easier. Please open the PR against `dev` when ready and link it back here.
