Thanks for the follow-up. I rechecked the PR state before replying here: there is still no new commit after `2101a32`, so I am not starting another full review round on the same code version. On the current head, I still see this as a targeted fix for the concrete file-sink writer/checkpoint race, while the broader framework-level coordination topic belongs in the separate STIP discussion that came up in the thread above.
