Thanks for splitting the report into the two concrete failure modes. I
checked the CLI paths, and both look like real bugs rather than a bad benchmark
setup.
On the Bedrock side, `BedrockProvider.chat(...)` / `chat_stream(...)`
currently always send `inferenceConfig.temperature`, so newer Claude models
that reject that parameter will fail on every call. On the local validation
side, `validate_hocon(...)` is treating `${...}` placeholders as environment
variables too aggressively, even though file sinks document engine-resolved
placeholders like `${now}`, `${uuid}`, and `${transactionId}` as valid runtime
syntax.
PR #11509 is already open and is the right place to keep both fixes
together. This issue should stay open until that lands and the CLI is rechecked
against both the Bedrock model path and a `file_name_expression` case like
`${now}`.
