The bi-temporal observation is useful for a later archival/history design,
but I suggest keeping it outside Phase 1. The first Mem0 sink should preserve
the source event operation and document Mem0 delete semantics; it should not
invent `valid_from`/`valid_to` fields or silently reinterpret a CDC DELETE as a
historical assertion. A future bi-temporal or audit sink would need an explicit
contract for retention, point-in-time reads, source timestamps, and privacy
erasure, and should be tracked as a separate design after the connector-local
MVP. This keeps the current acceptance matrix focused on deterministic
upsert/delete mapping, delivery guarantees, and partial-batch behavior.
