Thanks for the review! Rebased onto latest dev (resolved the MongodbScanFetchTaskTest conflict by keeping dev's `shouldPreserveSnapshotReadFailureCause` alongside this PR's new exactly-once test). The remaining CI failures are in unrelated connectors (Dead links / windows unit-test / updated-modules-it), classic flaky jobs.
