Thanks @SEZ9 — that summary matches where I have it too. Nothing new to add on my side: F1 (cancelJob() switching to the jobStatus local at line 212, or an explicit PR-description callout if the null-tolerant fallthrough is intended) is the one blocking item, F2 is left to the author's judgment on whether to fold into this PR or a follow-up, and F3/F4 are non-blocking doc/test cleanups.
