Thanks for locating #10814. I reviewed that branch rather than treating it as a generic prior attempt: it was closed unmerged on June 30, changed three production files, and added no test coverage. It is useful history, but it is not evidence that this is fixed in `dev` and should not be revived wholesale. Current `dev` still discovers only `TABLE_TYPE = 'BASE TABLE'`, and its Postgres CDC approximate-count path still limits itself to `relkind = 'r'`. I also found no open PR covering the parent-partition root cause. In particular, #10814 did not establish the schema-qualified discovery boundary or the parent/child snapshot contract that this issue needs. @misi1987107, since the issue remains assigned to you, please confirm whether you have an active branch. If not, @rucciva is welcome to start a fresh focused PR and cite #10814 only as background. That PR must cover configured-parent discovery without admitting unrelated tables, a safe parent/child snapshot and row-count strategy, and E2E coverage that configures the parent, verifies initial child rows, and verifies a later child-partition change.
