Classification: A / Connector-V2 DuckDB generated SQL identifier quoting. The issue identifies two distinct boundaries: embedded double quotes must be escaped in each identifier component, and the two-argument table identifier must not split a legal table name containing a dot. #12501 is the exact active fix path and includes dialect, catalog DDL, generated-SQL, and integration coverage for quoted and dotted names. It is still open with Build in progress, so do not treat the report as fixed or close it yet. Please keep the change confined to DuckDB identifier rendering and ensure the tests cover both generated source or sink SQL and catalog CREATE TABLE names.
