Thanks for the precise reproduction and for opening #12670. I checked the affected production callers: both `CsvDeserializationSchema` and `TextDeserializationSchema` cache the formatter returned by `DateUtils.matchDateFormatter` for a DATE field, so separating the optional fraction and optional trailing `Z` in that formatter is the minimal fix for the reported input. The direct `DateUtilsTest` cases are useful, but please also add or update the LocalFile CSV and Text integration coverage before this is merged. It should exercise the real source path with a DATE field containing a fractional ISO local datetime without `Z`, and assert the resulting date; that protects the caller-side formatter cache as well as the utility. Keep timezone offsets and new date patterns out of scope, and retain the existing rejection of malformed fractions. The Build check is still queued, so this is not ready to close yet. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
