Understood, and thanks for the clear call — I am leaving the standalone `SET UNSIGNED` / `ENUM UNSIGNED` mapping out. I agree it would encode the invented type rather than prevent it: the flag would stay on a column that cannot carry the attribute, and the case would be unreachable once the derivation is fixed anyway. So as I read the thread: #12333 is the fix for this report and this issue stays open until it is merged and its validation completes; the restricted `database-pattern` remains the workaround for released versions; #12742 is the guard/test cleanup stacked behind it and adds the OceanBase ENUM regression case. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
