[~dapengsun] - Good point. That would be nice to allow, but understand that it
can be tricky. Fine to leave that out for now, but let's be sure to call that
out in a comment in the code and possibly file a follow on JIRA (even if we
don't fix it right now) explaining current behavior vs desired behavior.
