Hi Tommaso,
cool that you have started with this. This has a rather high ranking on my TODO
list ^^. This will also require to update commons/solr/extras modules.
Especially if we want to keep support for paoding, as this project is no longer
maintained.
We might also need to have a look at the Contenthub, as it also heavily uses
Solr, but AFAIK is missing unit tests that check compatibility
I will definitely help with that as I would love to use the compressed indexes
supported in 4.1.0!
