Resolution: Fixed
implemented with http://svn.apache.org/r1638109 in trunk and
http://svn.apache.org/r1638710 for 0.12.1
NOTE: this also add code that does validate that the parsed URI is valid to
0.12.1. Formally such a check was only done in the 1.0.0-SNAPSHOT versions.
