Sometimes when you ask a user to identify a social profile with a text box,
there are numerous valid ways to do so. Numeric ID, handle, and one of several
URL formats are all suitable as an identifier, but we need the streams id to
run streams providers targeting that account. So it would be useful if there
were a base interface, utility class, and potentially provider-customized
implementations for parsing a string that might be any of the suitable patterns
into an activity object with the correct id and objectType.
