Head commit for run: 0c07054f5c64e57ef262d76c40b4896d24491244 / Kunwoo Park <[email protected]> fix(file-service): reject over-long dataset version names createDatasetVersion built the name "v{N} - {description}" and committed to LakeFS before inserting the dataset_version row. dataset_version.name is VARCHAR(128), so a long description made the insert fail after the commit, which sits outside the DB transaction. The request returned a 500 and the staged files were left committed with no version row. Reject a name over 128 characters with a 400 before creating the commit, as createModelVersion already does. The length is counted in code points because VARCHAR(n) counts characters, so an emoji counts once.
