Clearing the panel published IDLE without bumping it, so a reply that was already in flight still matched and repainted a suggestion the panel had cleared -- reachable from the toolbar by analysing a failed operator and then stopping the run before the model answers. Both clearing paths now go through one reset that supersedes whatever is in flight. Discard is not reachable mid-analysis today, since that button only exists once a suggestion is on screen, but it is the same contract and it is cheaper to hold it in one place than to rely on the template keeping it true.
