Thank you for the contribution. I'm closing this PR, because WICKET-6941 was resolved as Not A Problem. The recommendation there is to leave hidden columns out of the list returned by `getColumns()`. The branch also carries changes specific to your fork: the `9.22.0-KMC` versions, a `distributionManagement` section and line-ending changes.
