### Context Currently, when an AJAX response includes a `<link>` tag with a non-standard `rel` attribute (e.g., `rel="stylesheet/less"`), browsers do not fire an `onload` or `onerror` event. Wicket's `processLink` function was waiting for this event in `ASYNC` mode indefinitely, causing the UI to freeze entirely with an "AJAX in progress..." message. -> changes Modified `wicket-ajax-jquery.js` to verify if the `rel` attribute is strictly a standard stylesheet. If it is a non-standard link (`!isStylesheet`), the function now immediately returns `FunctionExecuter.DONE`. This bypasses the asynchronous wait, preventing the infinite hang and allowing the framework to continue processing the queue. -> testing - [x] Manually verified the fix using a local test application with a `stylesheet/less` link. - [x] Confirmed the UI no longer hangs and the panel loads successfully. - [x] Ran local Maven builds (`mvn install`) to ensure `wicket-core` compiles without errors. - [ ] one more thing is tht i didnt check the Junit test and verified it that way but overall in local environment without the use of local overrides it did resolved the issue . This is my first PR 😅so I am quite excited to get a feedback and learn more .and i wont lie i did use AI but for understanding the mechanism of the codebase but reached with the solution on my own.
