The Netty update in HADOOP-19335 required a newer grpc compiler which requires
newer libraries than even the add-on C++ environment has in Centos 7.
Centos 7 is EOL, and fixing Centos 7 would require rebuilding and replacing the
C++ library at which point why even bother ?
