Chris Douglas updated HADOOP-6196:
----------------------------------

     Description: Currently, the end of the SequenceFile header is a sync block
that isn't prefaced with SYNC_ESCAPE. This means that sync(0) followed by
next() fails. (was: Currently, the end of the SequenceFile header is a sync
block that isn't prefaced with SYNC_ESCAPE. This means that sync(0) followed
by next() fails. Patch w/ test attached, bumps VERSION from 6 to 7.)
    Release Note: Avoids sync(0) failures in SequenceFile::Reader by resolving
all requests to sync within the header to the first record in the SequenceFile
(was: Resolved with patch from Chris Douglas that avoids breaking compatibility)

> sync(0); next() breaks SequenceFile
