+1 for the idea of a feature branch. That will give you an easier time
iterating on the code and improving it. I'd be happy to help set that up. Let
me know if you'd like to proceed.
Just reinforcing some of my earlier comments, we consider it very important to
have documentation in place and a way for committers to run the contract tests
integrated with the live service. Without those in place, long-term
maintenance of this codebase is unlikely to succeed. I would ask for those
items to be completed before voting +1 on a branch merge to trunk.
