Thanks for the review [~hgadre], [~mackrorysd],
I've uploaded patch v3 with the fixes and a test.

Edit: tests and verify ran successfully on eu-west-1.
I have an addational test renaming on porpuse: Renamed 
{{testSetCapacityFailFast}} to {{testSetCapacityFailFastOnReadWriteOfZero)) for 
more consistent naming.
