URL: https://github.com/apache/hadoop/pull/1822#issuecomment-581410993 It needs a sentence at the beginning: How to set test options in your hadoop configuration rather than on the maven command line. And at the end *warning* although easier for IDE debugging setups, once you do this, you cannot change configurations on the mvn command line, such as testing without s3guard.
