@umamaheswararao Thanks. I did a rebase and updated the patch. Created https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-17238 to track the mount points resolution cache problem. As for `porting into FileContext`, do you mean fix the APIs which are not implemented in ViewFileSystem so FileContext could find the right path?
