Steve Loughran commented on HADOOP-18600: ----------------------------------------- finally, why can't you upgrade? because if you want to use this with spark (presumably), you need to have a recent version of spark to match. And the binding code you need there is only built in spark-hadoop-cloud with the hadoop 3 profile. So it won't be there *unless you use a version of spark built against hadoop-3.3+" you are fee to backport the feature yourself and modify your (private) spark build to match. > Hadoop 2.x should support s3a committers > ---------------------------------------- > > Key: HADOOP-18600 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-18600 > Project: Hadoop Common > Issue Type: New Feature > Components: common, fs/s3 > Affects Versions: 2.10.2 > Reporter: KaiXinXIaoLei > Priority: Major > > I think the feature about "Add S3A committers for zero-rename commits to S3 > endpoints" (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-13786) should be 蜜珀 > in the merged in hadoop 2.10.2. > > -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.10#820010) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: common-issues-unsubscr...@hadoop.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: common-issues-h...@hadoop.apache.org
