For the test classes it is an easy fix. Just added a change.
Regarding the productive code, as @pjfanning already started a discussion
about this property, we should have a common agreement where this property
should be set.

looks like a method where serialisation is being done. But I guess it wouldn't
be an option to set a system property within this method or even the
constructor.
