Now that the Jersey situation was solved (HADOOP-15984) and the JUnit 5
migration (HADOOP-14693) is approaching the finish line, it would probably be a
good time to check in on this issue again? What tasks are remaining here?
W.r.t. the logging issues (c.f. HADOOP-16206),
https://github.com/apache/hadoop/pull/5503 was reverted and
https://github.com/apache/hadoop/pull/5717 was closed unmerged. It's not clear
from the tracker if there's any more recent status than that.
